Son of a Doodle traces its roots back to over 30 years ago. David is the son of Doodle’s Den proprietors, John and Sharlene Haring. David’s parents owned and operated Doodle’s Den in Palatka for many years. David and his brother Terry
worked at the family business through their school years and before moving on to other careers. With the closing of Doodle’s Den and the opening of his own liquidation business, David noticed a need in the local area of Putnam County which wasn’t being met: Good, solid furniture, made to last.

Son of a Doodle is his solution. We offer the same hand-crafted solid wood furniture proudly “Made in the USA” from locally sourced, ecologically sustainable eastern white pine, alongside some newly created items too. Custom hand-finished options are available, but we specialize in providing unfinished real wood furniture for our customers to “make their own” unique style, color and designs.
We also sell: outdoor and patio furniture, porch swings, concrete statuary, pre-
owned furniture, as well as new and used appliances, tools, and much more.
